Challenge 9 - Fabric

Good Morning Fanatics - are you ready for a new challenge?  We have a theme for your this time around and the challenge is to use fabric somewhere on your project - this could be in the form of ribbon, felt or fabric scraps on a card, or you could even try your hand and stamping onto some fabric - anything goes!  We're quite excited by the possibilities of this one!   (You don't have to sew the fabric btw - glue is fine!)

Whatever route you take - please remember you MUST include WALTZINGMOUSE PRODUCTS on your project somewhere to be eligible for this challenge.

Challenge 8 Winners!

Well hello folks and Happy New Year - hope 2014 is treating you well thus far.

We're here ahead of tomorrow's new challenge to announce the winners from our flamingo based colour challenge - it seems you all liked the hues we chose as this challenge saw our highest number of entrants since our first challenge!   It was very difficult to choose our winners - you all make such fabulous cards :-D

Our No 1 Fan for this challenge was Lori - we adored the soft romantic feel she achieved using the softer hues in the theme colours.   Lori - as this challenge was a prize challenge, please email Deborah with your postal address so she can send you the set of stamps you've won :-)

Our runners up this time around are as follows, as always - in order of entry:

 Grá - fabulous use of the stronger colours on the background - the colours really pop and make a great place to highlight the super cute rocket :-)

Shirley - we loved the monochrome leaves with strong pops of colour from the flowers - lovely CAS design

Kathy - the fabulous plaid background caught both our eyes and was the perfect background to show off the lantern

Don't forget to take your winners badges from our "winners" page (see top of the blog) and we hope you'll be back again in the morning for our brand new themed based challenge - we think it's quite a fun one that will see all you crafty wombles digging in your 'bits n bobs' drawers ;-)

Challenge 8 - Colours

Good morning fellow Fanatics.  We hope you've had a very enjoyable Christmas and have not been affected by the horrible storms that have been taking place on either side of the Atlantic.  Hopefully now you're all fed up of TV and turkey and are now ready to get back to some crafting fun.  This time we have a colour challenge for you and to start the New Year off well for you all - we are also offering a little prize to our No 1 Fan this time around.   So thanks to Deborah's generosity if you're our winner we will send you "Charmed Squares" which is very useful little background set.

Remember that you don't have to use all six colours in your project, you can go for three if that makes it easier.  Don't forget that your project must include some Waltzingmouse stamps, digital images or cut files.

Taking a Christmas break and Winners

Good morning Fanatics - if you're here looking for our next challenge, then I'm afraid you'll have to wait a couple of weeks.  As I'm sure it is in your house, the run up to Christmas is always really busy for us so rather than posting a challenge and not having the time to visit all our entrants, we've decided to take a little break over the festive period.

So - here's a little Christmas wish to you all from each of us for a very Merry Christmas!

We do also need to give a little salute to the winner of our last sketch challenge - we only had 6 players so we decided to just pick a single winner and no runners up so our No 1 Fan for this challenge was Lori!

We loved how you interpreted the sketch into a perfect little scene Lori and the embossed details on the moon is an extra special touch.   Do grab your No 1 Fan badge for your blog.
