Waltzingmouse Stamps Farewell Hop

You've probably all heard the news that Claire has decided to close the doors on Waltzingmouse Stamps forever come the end of March 2016.  Being #ForeverAWaltzingmouseFanatic Deborah and I couldn't let this go by without comment so we have decided to open the blog for one special tribute to possibly the NICEST, KINDEST and most TALENTED stamp designer in the business.   Claire we will miss you and wish you the very best for whatever great things you have planned for the future.

So - we are opening a linky which will run until the store closes on 31st March 2016 and would like to invite all fellow Waltzingmouse Fanatics to share their favourite creations using Claire's projects so she can hop around and see all in one place how much we've loved her these past 7 years.

An InLinkz Link-up

Whether you share something old or make something new, do share your #foreverawaltzingmousefanatic love!

A Final Farewell and Prize Winner

When I had the idea for this challenge a couple of years ago and mentioned it to Deborah, we thought it would quickly grow, but sadly the number of players we'd hoped for just never arrived, and now Deborah and I are both super busy with other challenges and crafty assignments so we are both sorry that this will be final ever post from the Waltzingmouse Fanatics.  We both wanted to thank Kathy for joining us last year and are only sorry we can't keep it going any longer.

We must add, this is a FAN site, and is not directly linked to Waltzingmouse Stamps which is still open - it is just the challenge that has closed and you can still buy Claire's wonderful stamps (as we still intend to!)

We want to thank ALL the players that have played along since we opened, and we hope you enjoyed it while it lasted.

Without further ado, we have the final ever winners to announce.....

The overall winner, who thanks to Claire's generosity wins £20 to spend at Waltzingmouse Stamps is........

Tanja from Little Art Cottage

We all LOVED her adorable gift boxes - great colouring and creative use of the images and the vintage tag all won us over.   Congratulations Tanja and happy shopping!!!!

Our runners up were:

Charmaine and Gra

Both cards were perfectly designed and really eye catching!

So, in the words of bugs bunny, that's all folks!

Thanks so much for joining us - the challenge has gone, but we'll still be lurking around everything to do with Waltzingmouse - we are Fanatics after all!   So no doubt we'll be seeing you at a Pyjama Party over on the Waltzingmouse blog sometime soon ;-)

Challenge 33 - Anything Goes and some news

Hello everyone!  It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that this is the last challenge at Waltzingmouse Fanatics.  Whilst we've loved setting the challenges each fortnight, we just don't seem to have been able to build the numbers of players up, so feel we can't continue with all that goes into running a challenge with the low number of players we get each time.    Just remember, it's only the challenge that's closing and not the store!!!  Whilst numbers have been low we have had some wonderful regular supporters and we would like to thank everyone for playing along with us.  We've decided that as it's the last challenge we'll go with a theme that everyone likes:

For this last challenge, Claire Brennan, designer and owner of Waltzingmouse Stamps, is offering a £20 prize voucher for the winner of this challenge.  The voucher is valid to March 2015 and is for use at the Waltzingmouse Stamps online store.  In order to be considered for the winner or top three you must use at least ONE Waltzingmouse stamp, sentiment or digi on your project.

You can upload your submissions until Thursday 1st January and we will announce the prize winner and top 3 on Saturday 3rd January 2015.

We'd like to wish you all a very
Merry Christmas
and a
Happy New Year

Challenge 31 - Winner ...

Oops!  I'm really sorry this is so very late.
I completely forgot to post the winner of our Flowers challenge.
We only had a few entries, but they were all beautiful.
However, we were unanimous in our choice of winner here:

Congratulations Julia
We love the simple elegance of your card.
Great work

Don't forget to pick up your winner's badge from the blog and display it on your blog.

There's still time for you to join in with the current challenge which is a sketch for you to play with.

That's all for now.

Challenge 32 - Sketch

Hello everyone!  For the next couple of weeks we'd like to see your Waltzingmouse projects based on the following sketch:

You can rotate or flip the sketch, change up the shapes - but we must be able to see the basic sketch in your project.

Once again, I'd like to remind everyone that you MUST use at least one Waltzingmouse stamp, sentiment or digi on your project.  Sadly, we will remove any submission that does not meet the rules.

Here's some inspiration from the team:

Challenge 31 - Flowers

Good morning!  Now that the evenings are getting darker and it's getting colder, we thought we shake things up a bit and for our theme this time we've gone with:

There are spring flowers in the graphic, but you could go for Christmas flowers or even funky flowers, we just want to see your projects with flowers.

Sorry to keep on about this, I need to remind everyone that you MUST use at least one Waltzingmouse stamp, sentiment or digi on your project.  Sadly, we will remove any submission that does not meet the rules.
